Now you have to decide what it is that you want to do?

If you know what you want to do, then fine you should get on with it, look at the marketing and promotional sections to give you some grounding in the things you need to do.

OK so what can we do, the simplest way to get started is to use an already developed business that will come with a pre-built website. This saves you the work in putting the website together, (it takes time) and you don't have to worry about hosting, updating, modifying or maintaining the site. All time consuming. Your role is to get on and promote the site to potential customers.

How do you earn Money?

Your website is set up and ready to take orders, a customer buys and you get the sale, well normally a proportion of the sale, i.e. you get a commission, often 50% or more! Now that's not bad for doing very little. The scale of commission varies, and in some cases you get to keep all the proceeds, so this type of system works well particularly if you are just starting out.

There is a second element to earning with these sites, not only do you earn from people buying but you can also benefit from people signing up for that program under YOU. You then earn commission from the goods THEY sell. It gets better! This is affiliate marketing more of that later.

Back to getting started, first we need to find programs that are ethical (they will be more profitable in the long term) and sell something that people want. I say this because you will come across numerous programs which offer matrix, this way and that, but in the end offer nothing, everyone pays into the program to join but unless YOU are the one sitting at the top, the returns aren't all that good, if anything. Join these MLM programs if you feel you should they can be fun, but don't look at them as a money making business.
